“We preserve the folkways and traditions of the Ozarks here,” said Jeanette Larson, Craft Director at the Ozark Folk Center State Park. “Growing, preserving, and eating good food are all part of our lifestyle. We love to share our knowledge and joy in bringing quality meals to the table.”
Our Ozark Homesteading workshops focus carries over into our eateries in the park. Try the Skillet Restaurant, where they offer locally grown local produce in season and use herbs grown in the Kitchen Garden right in front of the restaurant. The Skillet is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday & Saturday.
Food, music, gardens, talks, tours and so much more make up the Ozark Folk Center State Park.
Season passes are honored for admission to this event.
